Chicken sandwich is one recipe that is sure to please all most everyone. i am going to show you how to make a healthy chicken sandwich. this is a great lunchbox recipe and an evening snack recipe that is sure to be a hit with your kids.


ingredients:


sandwich bread
chicken filling
butter

to cook the chicken:

  • chicken - 200gms
  • salt 
  • pepper
  • garlic 2 (pound)

to make chicken filling:

  • olive oil 2tsp
  • garlic 1tsp chopped
  • onion 1/2 cup
  • capsicum 1/4 cup chopped
  • shredded chicken
  • salt 1/4tsp
  • pepper
  • chicken stock
  • salt1/4 cup
  • Carrots 1/4cup  (finally chopped)
  • mayonnaise _2tsp
  • red chili sauce-1tsp

Instructions:

  • pressure cook the chicken with water, garlic. cloves, crushed pepper. salt and italian seasoning for 4 whistle on medium flame.
  • let the chicken come to room temperature, shred the chicken and keep it aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add all vegetables and saute them.
  • add the shredded chicken pieces, salt and pepper chicken stock.
  • cook for 5 mints, till the water is evaporated. 
  • after 5 mints turn off the stove and let  the chicken mixture cool down.
  • for making the chicken filling take mayonnaise in a bowl, add red chili sauce and mix well.
  • now mix the chicken mixture and coriander leaves into the mayonnaise mixture.
  • take a bread slice, spread chicken mixture on to the bread.
  • cover it with another slice of bread.
  • heat a grilled pan with some butter on the top and grill it till the sandwich is perfectly charred on both the sides
  • serve it hot with some ketchup and chips.
